Συγκεκριμένα, η περιγραφή της θέσης έχει ως εξής:
"As a Systems Engineer you will bring domain specific knowledge, skills, and best practices to a team of talented system professionals. You will administer, maintain, and support the Global Gateway infrastructure of our company and you will design and deliver, in a timely manner, the messaging interconnections with our clients and partners.
Key Accountabilities
• Contributing to the effective service provision of the Systems and Infrastructure Team.
• Setting up, configuring, testing, deploying and supporting our SMS gateways in order to establish SMS connectivity between our company and its clients for the purposes of large-scale mobile marketing campaigns.
• Collaborating with several technical teams in order to deliver the desired connectivity in line with other project requirements
• Serving as the point of escalation for any SMS connectivity related problems for live projects
• Participating in troubleshooting sessions with client technical teams
• Proactively administering our companyʼs SMS Gateways in order to ensure the highest level of availability.
• Providing 2nd and 3rd level support.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or similar faculties
• Minimum of 8 years professional experience in IT
• At least 5 years professional experience with UNIX Systems Administration
• Exceptional understanding of SMPP and other messaging protocols
• Exceptional understanding of TCP/IP
• Profound knowledge of installing, configuring, administrating and troubleshooting SMS Gateways
• Fluency in written and spoken English
