Description
Workable is a venture-backed technology startup producing modern recruiting software for fast-growing enterprises.
Our inside sales and account management team takes on a variety of sales-related responsibilities. As part of this team you will:
Respond to, qualify and convert inbound sales leads from our online marketing and customer support channels
Generate new leads by surveying specific verticals or geographies to identify potential new customers
Qualify leads with outbound calls or emails
Perform online demos of our product
Keep track of trial customers and proactively assist them to successfully adopt our software
Negotiate and close sales
Requirements
You must be:
Native or bilingual English speaker with a natural native accent. We might consider you if your are not native but you speak perfectly.
Tech-savvy, meaning that you are comfortable using modern office productivity tools, you are an efficient user of spreadsheet software and you can understand/learn our product well enough to be able to sell it to others. You will be doing software demos and explaining software features to users all the time.
Pleasant and patient communicator. We pride ourselves for our exceptionally friendly customer support, we communicate with respect and timeliness and we guide our users with patience and dedication.
Flexible to adjust to far-off time zones. Our customers are all over the world, so you will often need to schedule demos and respond to calls or emails into the late evening hours, sometimes even late at night. There will be flexibility on our side to accomodate for reasonable work-life-balance but please understand that this will not be a 9-to-5 job.
Bonus points if you qualify for one or more of the following:
University education in science, engineering or human resource management
Experience working for a software company or technology startup
Experience in sales, presales, inside sales or outbound lead generation
Experience in online customer support, including customer relationship management with social media
Experience using CRM software like Pipedrive, Intercom or Salesforce
Experience using helpdesk software like Zendesk or Desk.com
Experience in the field of recruiting
